Registration is now open for the UHA Fall Leadership Conference, taking place September 30-October 2nd at the Grand Summit Hotel and Conference Center at Canyons Resort, Park City. The program will begin with Utah Healthcare Executive's Education Day on Wednesday, September 30th. Featured speaker for the program is Carson F. Dye, FACHE. Thursday's program will offer rural meetings during the day and the UHA Awards Dinner that evening. The Independent Rural Hospital Network Luncheon will commence at 12:30 p.m. followed by Rural Hospital Council at 3:30 p.m. The UHA Annual Awards Dinner will begin with a reception at 6:00 p.m. followed by dinner service at 6:30 and the awards program shortly thereafter.
Friday's educational lineup includes discussions on the changing healthcare environment related to patient engagement, consumer technology/social media and the role of the hospital in this new world. Featured presenters include Jane Sarasohn-Kahn, Chris Boyer and Jake Poore.
